This is great! I love it!!!

Mr.Wadsworth. Glad to see you join Newgrounds!

The best entry, NO CAP. It not only made me laugh, but it left me feeling something, and that's more than I can say for any other entry. Everyone here did an amazing job... Ngl, almost made me cry.

retroarcademonkey responds:

This is no joke my favourite review I have read so far on this, NO CAP... What I strive for for literally ANYTHING I work on is to make someone feel emotional in some capacity. I feel so incredibly humbled by your words. Even though I don't really do this voice acting thing as much these days, it definitely gives me a lot of weight behind what I used to do.

Porcelain really made this shit come to life, and I'm still so glad that I could get to be apart of this in any way at all. Thanks, Kolani for the incredibly kind words.

BoyPorcelain responds:

Wow okay, that's... crazy to hear, I did my best to have a condensed story between these two that wasn't just going to be goofy joke after joke, the fact that it resonated with you like that and have my stupid ass quickly rushed script is something I can only dream I'll be able to do.
Thank you so much for the kind words and taking the time to leave a comment, at this point winning is beyond what I want, I'm just so grateful of the response this has gotten and the feedback from everyone. You've made all the hard work very worth it.

This is great! Holy fuck, genuinely sent shivers up my spine! Great work!

Stradomyre responds:

Thank you! >:D

lol this is great! tickles my garbage sense of humour lmao

I like this a lot! But like, can we get some actual links to the others and not just Lisa? lol

Raziberry responds:

Josh and Perry accepted their credit, the rest aren't on newgrounds. so...no, sorry. Check their credits in the end of the video, I tried to be thorough.

This is awesome! Great work. I love the black outlines on the characters. Gives them a really cool poppy appeal.

Chris-Vassilico responds:

Thank you! Yeah, I really like thick outer strokes, despite it not being very anime-y. :P

This was really cute. It put a big ol' stupid smile on my face. The colours are nice and the designs are simple, but easy on the eyes. Good stuff.

The art was really nice but the movement took me out of it. If they had stuck with the tweening used at the beginning I'd be find with it, but when y'all tried to do movement frame by frame it was super obvious that you use the onion skin too much. The thing that bothered me the most were the fingers that were on a different layer and just kinda awkwardly moving around. I feel like the feel of this cartoon would still be there if you guys had taken the time to nail the movement. Other than that, there was a lot of cool stuff going on here with the effects and the colouring. Pretty cool. Music was aight.

MagtiraPaolo responds:

Yeah it could've been a lot better if we remained consistent all throughout. The hand frame is the weakest animated frame by far compared to the others due to my current lack of skill in translating the initial frames but it's a learning experience all the same. We would have taken more careful work on those frames but we weren't at a level to be able to do that and meet the deadline. Thank you for commenting!

Animation and Dialogue could be better, but there are a lot of great ideas here. I really like this and hope to see more of it! Try to not just have the characters be in the same pose all the time, especially in a series like this where you're trying to have a lot of action and magical shenanigans. The dialogue sounded a little awkward at the beginning, especially the interaction with the dad.

:D
