I love the use of shapes and the colouring is absolutely amazing! Though in terms of the background, I see what you were going for, but I'd say maybe keep it clean to better fit in with the character, OR since he's kinda flying thru the air, you coulda changed the direction of the brush strokes to kinda go diagonally since that's how it looks like he's falling. Either way, great stuff! Put a smile on ma face!
